The choice of a number is particularly important (although it is not definitive).
The right balance is often halfway between two objectives :
Receive the highest number of calls possible
Control your telecommunications budget (increase revenue with premium rate audiotel)
 Freephone numbers (0800, 0805)
A free phone number for the caller calling from a fixed-line phone wherever it is located
Our advice : large telecommunication budget and risk of unsolicited calls
To be used for targeted prospecting.
Shared-cost numbers (0810, 0811)
Cost of a local call for the caller calling from a fixed-line phone wherever it is located
Our advice : Often used in advertising campaigns, although with
communication costs partly at your expense.
"Indigo"- type numbers (0820, 0821, 0825, 0826)
Cost 0.12 to 0.15 Euros/minute
Our advice : The same base for everyone for a still reasonable cost
No communication budget for you and sufficiently motivated callers.
This is the most popular consumer-number choice of our clients today.
The €0.15 ceiling even allows vocal server costs to be covered.
Black numbers (01.xx.xx.xx.xx)
Our advice : There is a problem in differentiating processing according to region, which will no doubt be resolved in the future.
However, we suggest this option for targeting a younger clientele calling mainly from their mobile
(as the calls are often included in their plan)
Audiotel premium rate numbers (0891, 0892, 0897, 0899).
Our advice : Should be avoided completely for client development campaigns.
These numbers should offer high added value to motivate the client.
The number 0892, at €0.34 per minute, for example, is the most often used in the field of telephone games, dating, horoscopes, etc...
